Fanfix management, by the platform's own rules

Fanfix management is the day-to-day running of a creator's account by an agency she appoints. Fanfix sanctions it in writing: a creator may share her User ID with agents acting for her, and can accept a Revenue Agreement under which Fanfix pays the agency's split automatically. Our team signs in to her account with her login, which Fanfix's terms say she must keep confidential, so that part is hers to weigh.

Fanfix management is a named category in Fanfix’s own documents rather than a workaround somebody invented. The General Terms of Service permit a creator to share her User ID with “agents acting on their behalf” (General Terms of Service, updated 2026-08-20, checked 2026-09-20). The Creator Terms put an “Agency Services Agreement with Creators that are agencies managing Creator Account(s)” into the order of precedence (Creator Terms of Use §4.1, checked 2026-09-20). Since 2026-07-07 the money has a mechanism too. Everything below is therefore checkable against Fanfix rather than against us — which is the only reason to believe any of it.

What does Fanfix management cover on the platform’s own terms?

Fanfix management covers the work around the content that the platform exposes to an appointed agent: the application route, payout and tax setup, membership tier structure, pricing requests, promo codes, livestream logistics, takedown notices and the revenue split itself. What we sell is four services: account management, which is this page, plus growth, marketing and paid-DM chatting.

So read the list above as what the platform permits rather than as a promise we have made. Paid DMs have their own page because our staff answer them in your voice, to a brief you write, and that leaves you responsible for messages you did not type, which Fanfix chatting sets out before it sells anything. The work inside your account is done with your login, and the next section sets that beside what Fanfix’s terms say about logins.

What access does an agency need, and how does ours work?

An agent works under your User ID, which Fanfix lets you share with agents acting on your behalf. How that agent then gets working access to post, price and answer messages is not in any document Fanfix publishes. We use your login: our chatters and managers sign in to your Fanfix account with it and work through our own CRM built for Fanfix. Agency Manager access is a separate thing: Fanfix switches it on for the agency’s own Fan account so the agency can send you a Revenue Agreement, and that is the only use Fanfix documents for it. Logins have a clause of their own, in the same section of the Terms of Service that permits the agent.

That clause reads: “You must treat your username, password or any other piece of information utilized as part of our security procedures as confidential. You also acknowledge that your Account is personal to you.” It goes on: “You agree not to solicit, store, collect, or use FanFix login credentials of other Users.” Our way of working is the practice that clause is about, and Fanfix can withhold earnings at its sole discretion, so weigh it before you sign. If you want certainty, ask Fanfix at hello@fanfix.io, or a lawyer where you live.

The account stays yours throughout. You can change your password at any time, which ends our access, and you can leave on 14 days’ notice. Payouts go only to your own bank account, and our commission reaches us through a Revenue Agreement, so we never touch your bank account.

The last row is the reason this site sells one platform only. The penalty lands on the creator’s payment method on file, not on the agency that suggested the cross-post, and earnings can be withheld whether or not they have already been paid out.

How does Fanfix pay an agency its share?

Through a Revenue Agreement. Fanfix enables Agency Manager access on the agency’s own Fan account, the agency sends the creator an agreement naming a percentage, she accepts it by email, and Fanfix then pays that percentage to the agency automatically. The platform’s 20% is unchanged by any of it, and the agency’s percentage comes out of the creator’s 80%.

Both mechanics are documented: the Revenue Agreements setup guide published 2026-07-07, and Creator Terms of Use §3.1 and §3.2, checked 2026-09-20. That mechanism matters more than any sentence we could write about transparency — it puts the commission inside your dashboard instead of inside an invoice you have to trust. Our rate is 30% to 60%, and it applies to your share after Fanfix’s 20%, on revenue rather than profit. We take it through a Revenue Agreement: you accept it by email, Fanfix pays our share automatically out of each transaction, and you never pay us anything yourself, with no invoice and no upfront fee. The pricing page shows what each rate leaves you.

Who carries the risk if a manager gets it wrong?

You do, in the first instance. The Creator Terms define “Creator”, “you” and “your” to include agents engaged by creators, and the creator stays personally responsible for what an agent does. Enforcement also reaches the agency: earnings can be withheld at sole discretion, and external agencies can be permanently blacklisted.

Those provisions are the Creator Terms of Use preamble and §1.3, and the Content Guidelines updated 2026-07-01, both checked 2026-09-20; AI moderation has run since 2025-12-08. So the question to put to any agency is not what it promises but what it will be accountable for in writing, and whose name is on the bank account the payouts reach. Fanfix pays a creator’s linked bank account on a cadence she chooses, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly (payouts setup guide, 2026-05-01). If any manager proposes that the money reaches them first, you have not been offered management.

When should you not hire a Fanfix manager?

Do not hire one to get you onto the platform. Fanfix is invite-only, every application is reviewed by its Partnerships team, a valid active social handle is mandatory, and approval is at Fanfix’s sole discretion. No agency controls that decision. Fanfix’s application page does point creators working with a talent agency to talent@fanfix.io to expedite the process, and the decision stays with the Partnerships team.

The review, the handle rule and the sole discretion come from the Fanfix FAQ and Creator Terms §1.1, checked 2026-09-20. The follower rule comes from the Creator Qualifications dialog on the application form, checked 2026-09-21, which requires a minimum of 10,000 followers across all your social accounts. Meeting it does not mean approval, which we set out in full on follower requirements.

The second case is any manager who will not put the commission rate and the notice period in writing before you sign anything. Ours are both public: the rate is above, and the contract is month-to-month with no long-term lock-in, which you can end with 14 days’ notice. You get both in writing when you apply, and you should ask every other agency for the same.

Questions creators ask

Does this agency sign in with my Fanfix login?

Yes. The agency’s chatters and managers sign in to a creator’s Fanfix account with her login and work through the agency’s own CRM built for Fanfix. Fanfix’s Terms of Service let a creator share her User ID with agents acting on her behalf, and the same section says her username and password must stay confidential and bars users from soliciting, storing, collecting or using another user’s login credentials, so she should weigh the practice before signing.

How does Fanfix pay an agency its commission?

Through a Revenue Agreement, Fanfix can pay it directly. Fanfix enables Agency Manager access on the agency’s own Fan account, the agency’s agreement names the split percentage, the creator accepts by email, and the platform then pays that share automatically (setup guide, 2026-07-07). Commission handled that way appears in the creator’s own dashboard rather than on an invoice.

What does Fanfix management cost?

The rate charged here is 30% to 60%, scaling with how much of the work the agency takes on, and it applies to the creator’s share after Fanfix’s 20%, on revenue rather than profit, which leaves her between $32 and $56 of every $100 a fan pays. Fanfix’s own fee is fixed and public: 20% of each fan payment, 80% to the creator, identically across memberships, paid DMs and locked content (Creator Terms §3.1 and §3.2).

Who is responsible if a manager breaks a Fanfix rule?

The creator, in the first instance. Fanfix’s Creator Terms define “Creator”, “you” and “your” to include agents engaged by creators, and the creator stays personally responsible for what an agent does. Enforcement reaches agencies too: earnings can be withheld at sole discretion, and creators and external agencies alike can be permanently blacklisted.

Can a manager get a creator approved on Fanfix?

No agency can get a creator approved, because Fanfix is invite-only, every application is reviewed by its Partnerships team, and approval sits at Fanfix’s sole discretion (Fanfix FAQ, checked 2026-09-20). Fanfix’s application page requires a minimum of 10,000 followers across all socials and points creators working with a talent agency to talent@fanfix.io to expedite the process, with the decision left to the Partnerships team.

Applying takes one call. You send your handles and what you want from the next six months; we tell you what we would do, what it costs and how you leave. Ask for the commission rate and the notice period in writing on that call, and do not sign anything during it.
