Anyone selling you how to promote Fanfix should tell you the boring part first: the platform is invite-only and its own documents say almost nothing about traffic, so the growth work is the same audience work you already do, aimed at a page that converts differently. What Fanfix does publish is a set of conversion tools and one expensive prohibition, both below with their sources. Growth is one of four services we sell, alongside account management, marketing and paid-DM chatting.
How to promote Fanfix: which channels can you use?
Your existing accounts carry the reach, since Fanfix documents no discovery surface and has no app for anyone to browse. The platform is web and progressive web app only, and its own FAQ has been promising a native iOS app for a while. So the funnel starts wherever your audience already is.
Checked on the Fanfix FAQ on 2026-09-20, and confirmed independently: an iTunes lookup for io.fanfix.app returns nothing, and there is no Play listing. Anyone planning your promotion around an app store is planning around something that does not exist.
| Channel | What you can do there | What is closed off | Source, checked 2026-09-20 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your own social profiles | Link the page, post the promo code, run the invite | Nothing Fanfix controls, though each network has its own link rules | Fanfix FAQ |
| Your Fanfix account itself | Sell memberships, paid DMs, locked content, livestreams and 1:1 video calls | Promoting Patreon, Passes, OnlyFans or any other monetisation platform, at USD $1,000 per violation | Creator Terms of Use §2.5, ToS §8.4 |
| Promo codes | Discount a membership for a campaign or a collaboration | No published limit on codes, and no published price range to discount from | Fanfix blog, 2026-01-07 |
| The referral programme | Earn from creators you bring in | Terms of the programme are not published in detail | Creator Terms of Use §2.2 to §2.4 |
| The clipping network | Have clippers cut and post your material | Same content rules apply to the clips, and enforcement reaches agencies too | Content Guidelines, updated 2026-07-01 |
The second row is worth reading twice, because it is the row that makes a cross-platform agency an expensive friend. The liquidated damages are chargeable to the creator’s payment method on file, and earnings can be withheld whether or not they have already been paid out. We sell Fanfix only — that is self-interested advice as well as correct advice, so check it in the Terms yourself.
Does a bigger following get you approved faster?
Nothing Fanfix publishes says so. It does publish a floor: its application page requires a minimum of 10,000 followers across all your social accounts (application form, checked 2026-09-21). Every application is reviewed by the Partnerships team, a valid active social handle is mandatory, and approval sits at Fanfix’s sole discretion, with no review time published. The one speed-up the application page mentions is for creators working with a talent agency, who are pointed to talent@fanfix.io to expedite the process.
The review, the handle rule and the discretion come from the Fanfix FAQ and Creator Terms §1.1, checked 2026-09-20. Neither mentions the follower figure, which sits in the Creator Qualifications dialog on the application page. So growth work before approval is audience work, aimed first at clearing that floor, and growth work after approval is conversion work. We wrote the long version of the eligibility question in how to get approved on Fanfix and what the qualifications dialog does and does not say in follower requirements.
What does the platform give you to convert with?
Fanfix documents ten monetisation features: memberships with tiers, paid DMs, locked content, prepaid memberships of three months or more, livestreams including 1:1 sessions, 1:1 video calls, mass messaging with scheduling, promo codes, a referral programme and a clipping network (Creator Terms of Use §2.2 to §2.4 and the Fanfix blog, checked 2026-09-20).
One of those, paid DMs, we sell as a separate service rather than as part of growth. The promotion we run under this heading is campaign work around the page. Answering paid DMs in your voice, to a brief you write, has its own page, Fanfix chatting, because it leaves you responsible for messages you did not type, and that deserves spelling out before you buy it.
What can nobody promise you about Fanfix growth?
An outcome. Fanfix sets subscription prices at its sole discretion and creators may only request changes, so the main lever an agency would pull on another platform is not yours or ours to pull. No median or typical Fanfix creator income is published anywhere we could reach.
The price rule is Creator Terms of Use §2.2, checked 2026-09-20, and the missing income figure is set out with its three sourced substitutes in the earnings report. That is also why this page has no case study on it. We have no publishable client figures yet and we will not borrow anyone’s, which is the whole argument of the results page. A growth pitch that ends in arithmetic you can check is worth more than one that ends in a graph you cannot — and the arithmetic we can offer you is the 20% platform fee plus our commission of 30% to 60% of what is left, which on pricing comes with the growth each rate needs just to break even.
What should you ask a growth agency first?
Ask what happens on your Fanfix account and what happens off it, and get the answer in writing. Anything that touches messaging, logins or another platform’s name inside the account is a contractual question for you first, because the Creator Terms keep you personally responsible for what an agent does, and the three documents that decide it are the Terms of Service, the Creator Terms and the Content Guidelines.
Then ask the money questions from the apply page before you sign. How our team gets into your account, and what Fanfix’s terms say about logins, are set out in Fanfix management.
