Fanfix marketing: moving your own audience onto a paid tier

Fanfix marketing is the work done off the platform to move an audience you already have onto a paid Fanfix tier: the content plan for your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, the launch order, the bio link and the price request. It runs one way only, because promoting another paid platform from a Fanfix account costs USD $1,000 per violation.

A Fanfix marketing agency works on the accounts you already run, because none of the features Fanfix documents lets fans browse for creators, and Fanfix has no native app at all (Fanfix FAQ and Creator Terms of Use §2.2 to §2.4, checked 2026-09-20). We sell this service, so read the page as a pitch as well as a method — every rule below carries its source for that reason.

What does a Fanfix marketing agency do?

A Fanfix marketing agency works on your own Instagram, TikTok and YouTube to move people who already follow you onto a paid tier, planning the announcement, the launch order and the price you ask Fanfix for. Fanfix’s own tools, such as promo codes and the clipping network, are covered in how to promote Fanfix.

Marketing is one of four services we sell, alongside account management, growth work and paid-DM chatting. The table shows who has the final word on each part of it, because an agency controls less of this work than a pitch tends to suggest.

Why does Fanfix marketing only point toward Fanfix?

Fanfix marketing points one way because the Creator Terms forbid using a Fanfix account to promote Patreon, Passes, OnlyFans or any other monetisation platform. Each violation costs USD $1,000 in liquidated damages, chargeable to your payment method on file, and Fanfix may withhold earnings whether or not they have already been paid out.

The clauses are Creator Terms §2.5 and §3.4(a)(i) and Terms of Service §8.4, checked 2026-09-20. In practice, your socials send people into Fanfix, and nothing on the Fanfix side sends them anywhere else. That rule separates a brand-safe Fanfix agency from a cross-platform one, which has a commercial reason to move your audience between platforms while the bill for doing it from Fanfix lands on you. We sell Fanfix work only, which makes this self-interested advice; read §2.5 yourself.

How do you introduce a paid tier to followers who have never paid you?

Introduce a paid Fanfix tier by telling followers what it adds before any link goes up, and keep your public accounts as active as they were. The announcement has to answer one question for people who have never paid you, which is what they are about to lose, and the posting schedule afterwards has to prove the answer.

What goes behind the tier has to be something your public accounts do not already give away, within Fanfix’s content rules; what to post on Fanfix lists the ten things you can sell. The announcement should sound like you — it is the post where followers decide whether the tier is worth paying for — and the agency’s part is when it runs and which questions it answers.

In what order should a Fanfix launch run?

A Fanfix launch runs best in three steps on your own accounts: an announcement that explains the tier, the day the link goes into your bio, and reminders that point back to that link. Put the link up on the day the page opens, so nobody who taps it early finds a page with nothing on it.

A YouTube video has room to explain what the tier holds and why it costs money, short TikTok and Instagram posts carry the announcement itself, and Stories carry the reminders back to the link in your bio, each within that network’s own link rules.

Who sets the price of a Fanfix tier?

Fanfix sets the subscription price, at its sole discretion, and a creator may only request a change. Pricing a tier for your audience therefore means building the case for that request: what the tier holds, and why that is worth paying for when your public accounts cost nothing.

The rule is Creator Terms of Use §2.2, checked 2026-09-20. Fanfix publishes no price range; any band quoted to you for Fanfix subscriptions comes from somewhere else, and the agency’s part in pricing ends at the request.

Will a Fanfix launch clash with your brand deals?

Whether a Fanfix launch clashes with a brand deal is decided by that deal’s own exclusivity and conduct clauses, in a contract Fanfix never sees. What Fanfix contributes is its positioning: it calls itself “a strictly safe-for-work (SFW) platform, designed for verified creators who want to share exclusive content in a brand-friendly environment”.

That sentence is from the Fanfix FAQ, checked 2026-09-20, and it can go into an email to a brand manager as it stands. We know of no published data on how brands react when a creator opens a paid tier, so treat any confident claim about brand risk as a sales line — ours included. Read your current contracts before the announcement, and keep the Fanfix link out of sponsored posts and live campaigns unless the contract allows it.

When should you not hire a Fanfix marketing agency?

Do not hire a Fanfix marketing agency before Fanfix has approved you. The platform is invite-only, its Partnerships team reviews every application, a valid active social handle is mandatory, and approval sits at Fanfix’s sole discretion, so no agency can market a launch that has not been allowed to happen.

No follower count changes that. Fanfix’s application page sets a minimum of 10,000 followers across all your social accounts (application form, checked 2026-09-21), and meeting it does not mean approval (follower requirements); the review itself is described in the Fanfix FAQ and Creator Terms §1.1. Nor should you hire one while you cannot confirm that Fanfix can pay you where you live: Fanfix publishes no list of the countries it pays, and the way to find out is to email hello@fanfix.io with your country and bank. And if your plan depends on moving Fanfix subscribers to another paid platform, Fanfix is the wrong platform for it and we are the wrong agency.

The last case is arithmetic. Our commission is 30% to 60% of your share after Fanfix’s 20%, scaling with the level of service and charged on revenue, not profit. On every $100 a fan pays, Fanfix keeps $20 and the commission takes $24 to $48 of the remaining $80, leaving you $56 to $32 — which means the marketing has to lift your Fanfix revenue by 43% at the low end, and by 150% at the top, before you are better off in cash than without us. If a launch plan cannot plausibly do that for your audience, do not buy it. Contracts run month to month with no lock-in, you can leave on 14 days’ notice, and the full working is on the pricing page.

Questions creators ask

How is Fanfix marketing different from Fanfix management?

Fanfix marketing happens off the platform: the content plan, the launch order and the bio link on a creator’s own Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Fanfix management happens inside the account, under the User ID she shares with agents, covering its day-to-day running from payout setup to tier structure. Both are done under her Creator Terms, which count any agent she engages as the creator and leave her personally responsible for what that agent does.

What should be ready before a Fanfix launch?

An approved Fanfix account, a finished payout setup and a read of any brand contract that could restrict the announcement. Fanfix releases withdrawals only once tax information and a bank account are added, although earnings accrue before that (payouts setup guide, 2026-05-01). Finishing the setup before launch day means the first payments reach your bank on the cadence you chose, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

Can a Fanfix launch be aimed at followers under 18?

No. Fanfix requires fans as well as creators to be 18 or older, with no parental-consent exception (Fanfix FAQ and Creator Terms §1.1, checked 2026-09-20). If part of your audience is younger, the announcement should say plainly who the tier is for, because a campaign built around under-18 followers is aimed at people who cannot subscribe at all.

Applying takes one call. You send your handles and what you want from the next six months; we tell you what we would do, what it costs and how you leave. Ask for the commission rate and the notice period in writing on that call, and do not sign anything during it.
