Almost every guide to what to post on Fanfix is a list of content ideas with no reference to the platform’s own documents, which is how the same guides end up recommending things Fanfix does not sell and formats it never shipped. This one starts from what the terms and the feature guides say exists — the format you choose decides how you get paid.
What to post on Fanfix, and what can you charge for it?
Fanfix documents ten monetisation features, and every one of them is a different answer to what you should post. Memberships with tiers reward a body of work; paid DMs and locked content reward single pieces; livestreams and 1:1 video calls reward your time; promo codes, referrals and the clipping network move other people’s audiences towards all of it.

Two of the ten are not content at all, which is worth noticing before you plan a week of posts. Mass messaging and the clipping network move people towards the paid formats — treating them as the product is how creators end up busy and flat.
What is banned, and who decides?
Nudity is banned. The operative clause is the Terms of Service heading “No Nudity or other Prohibited Content”, which postdates the Content Guidelines and takes precedence over them. Fanfix describes itself in its own FAQ as a strictly safe-for-work platform for verified creators in a brand-friendly environment.
Those are the General Terms of Service, updated 2026-08-20, and the Fanfix FAQ, both checked 2026-09-20. Enforcement is automated first and human second. Fanfix has run AI moderation with a review-request flow since 2025-12-08, and the Content Guidelines reserve the right to withhold earnings at sole discretion and to permanently blacklist creators and external agencies (Content Guidelines, updated 2026-07-01). The practical reading is that a borderline post risks the income from every other post, so the platform’s content rule is a business constraint rather than a moral one — and it is the whole reason this platform is compatible with brand work.
What protects what you post?
Two things, one of them included and one of them sold separately. Every video on the platform carries DRM that blocks screenshots and screen recording, applied platform-wide with no setup since 2025-10-15 (feature announcement, 2025-10-15, checked 2026-09-20). That covers video and says nothing about stills — a gap worth knowing about before you decide what sits behind a paywall.
For material that escapes anyway, Content Armour runs the official takedown service as Fanfix Content Protection, with 24/7 scanning, DMCA filing and Slack alerts, in Basic and VIP tiers. It is a paid add-on rather than something bundled with your account, and Fanfix publishes no pricing for it (Content Protection announcement, 2025-12-04). The formal DMCA route stays open to you directly: written notice to FanFix LLC, Attn: DMCA Notice, at hello@fanfix.io (Terms of Service §4.2).
How do you post without risking your brand deals?
By treating one clause as non-negotiable, and it is not the content clause. A Fanfix account may not be used to promote Patreon, Passes, OnlyFans or any other monetisation platform, and the liquidated damages are USD $1,000 per violation, chargeable to the creator’s own payment method on file.
Those are Creator Terms §2.5 and Terms of Service §8.4, checked 2026-09-20. Whatever a sponsor thinks of the platform, a contractual penalty against your own card is the more immediate problem.
Beyond that, what a particular sponsor will accept is a question for the sponsor rather than for us — and any agency claiming to know how your brand partners will read your Fanfix page is guessing about contracts it has not seen. What can be said from the documents is that the platform bans nudity, verifies identity and age through Persona, and positions itself as brand-friendly, which is a materially different starting point from platforms that permit adult content (Creator Terms §1.1).
What does nobody know about what works?
Which formats earn most, and for whom. No median or typical creator income is published by Fanfix or by any publication we could reach on 2026-09-20, and the two platform-side figures that get quoted cannot both be right. Ranking the ten formats for you is therefore guesswork.
The FAQ says top creators earn over $1 million monthly, while the founders told Observer in 2023 that the highest earner made $7 million a year; the earnings report lays out all three sourced figures with their dates.
So a content plan built on somebody else’s reported numbers is built on nothing. Pick the formats that match what you already make well, watch your own dashboard, and treat any unsourced ranking of formats as decoration — including the order of the table above, which is simply the order Fanfix lists them in.
